More Organic Wasser Shapes...

What is so interesting about these organic
Wasser Glass shapes is how they look
dangling from the ear...

Whether you are coming or going,
they intrigue the onlooker.

And can be worn with either side face forward
simply by inserting the ear wire into the ear
from the back instead of the front.

Which is why it is so much fun to show you
BOTH SIDES of each PAIR!

They can have subtle nuances...

Or only make an outright statement from one side...

Even with my ceramic clay accents, these Fun-2-Wear
Earrings are lightweight.

Hand fashioned copper swings allow the clay, cultured
seaglass and semi-precious to catch the eyes of
passers-by...

As you make your own personl Fashion Statement!

Each pair is individual and unique...

Notice the Bumble Bee Jasper and imagine it
pollinating your favorite bloom...

Bet you can't pick just one pair!

Tis the Season for Wasser Wearing

Just when I thought I'd never again see the magnificent
array of Wasser glass patterned colors, a package
arrives from my dear friend Emily with some
breathtaking Wasser Glass shards...

All the more reason to plan to reverse your earrings
for wearing either way!

Semi-precious Jasper ovals are the perfect complement
to many of the speckled, colorful surfaces...

And seem to work as accents for either side.

New for me, this copper wire swing (with a twist)
which holds an oval stone under the Wasser shapes...

And just when you thought it couldn't get better,
the other side astounds!

I call this pair Spotted Cat and you can see why; it
seems to be all set to jump through the cultured sea glass
black loops underneath...

Then the reverse of spotted cat with the missing
spots...and missing cat, replaced by red & green
strokes against a black ground -
Oh what fun!

Making Ceramic Beads & Pendants

Making Ceramic Beads & Pendants

Ceramic Beads and Pendants can take all sorts of
shapes and sizes...

For instance, these textured clay discs have been
connected by a C-lon crochet cord to form a necklace.

These interesting discs could become earrings
or a necklace as well...

And these large discs and lone spirit hole
are connected with Bonn Beads Picasso trades
and blob beads making a subtle statement necklace.

Earrings emerge using pairs of fun clay beads...

Even a pair of button molded tic-tac-toe clay
beads accented with Labradorite drops

or large textured clay discs complemented with
beach glass shapes

become Fun-to-Wear clay creations...why not

More Crochet-ing with Beads...

...Found this really nice waxed cotton bead cord
at Blue Santa Beads, Media, PA. I t has a nice twist
to it and is not overly waxy to the touch.

This is the C-lon 400 cord which works nicely with
my glass and ceramic bead pieces, found objects, etc.
I did get a bit carried away with this one which
ended up being over 8 feet long -
What a Wrap!

A Necklace for Yvonne

A simple piece of driftwood found on Martha's Vineyard
transforms one of my reversible clay pendants into
a natural statement asking to be worn...

Crochet a Necklace with Beads

If you can do a chain stitch
and nothing else crochet-wise, you're in business!
Simply gather together all those
leftover beads you have enmassed from past projects,
load them onto some S-lon cord and you're good to go...

Your finished necklace will look more like this
when you wear it especially if it is over 72" long!

ORANGE, It's Not Just For Halloween Anymore...

Speckled orange Wasser glass shapes
arrived from Emily Cohen yesterday, just in
time for Autumn earring fashioning...

Many of my Spirit Hole discs have a touch of this
unryhme-able color, so including an orange
Wasser shape in them was a no-brainer...

The flecks on the orange glass are complimented
by shades of green, so Coke bottle sea glass
was a natural go-to...

Thanks, Emily

Wasser Glass Swiss Cheese Shapes Make Fun Earrings...

All of my Wasser glass & beach glass
components are from
Emily Cohen, Catfish Studio...

Even the lavender JADE semi-precious retangles
in the above pair came from Emily...

Talk about wearing something folks will
have to gab about
- coral, aubergine & turquoise -
Oh, MY!

Or this sophisticated pair called,
"Give Me a Hand,"
complete with two grey cat heads...

All fun and easy to wear AND
bound to start a conversation!
