Scent Bottles in Ceramic Clay

Impressed with my Dot Leaf Intaglio mat.

Small intimate pieces such as these
just beg to be picked up and caressed!

Transfer Printed Press Mold Tray

We initially did this process during Winter
Clay Camp and I just got around to
glazing the demo piece!

Denim Disc CUTEsie Pitcher

The patterning on this pitcher came from a coaster
design inspired by Moravian tiles.
I used a Denim Blue glaze on the tile impression
and Blue Hare's Fur in & on the collar.
The rope neck cord was stained
with ocher terra sigillata.

All Terrain Pouring Pitcher

This pitcher is designed to be grasped
by the whole hand in it's mid section!

Southwest Free Form Lidded Box

The varied coloration in this box
comes from the use of scroddled clays.
By accenting the impressed Southwest motifs
with oxides and using Renaissance wax
to seal the finish, this box has the look of both
leather and rock...

Zentangle Patterned Canister with Two Arms

This was one of the first patterned canisters I built.
It retains the stance I normally reserved for gesture pots
but no interesting legs...

The Curlie Top Lidded Round Canister

It's so hard to show off a really interesting piece
with only one picture so I have supplied five
 to enable you to see
the full round interest on this canister.
BH 818 is about 9" high
and is finished to resemble tanned leather.

O L I V E R

I haven't had the time to finish 'decorating' my Oliver
but I did want you to see how it was progressing...

Hopefully these will happen more often than
"Once in a Blue Moon."

will be available at the South Jersey Bead Society
BEAD BINGE March 14 & 15, 2015
