Time for Making Earrings...

Since I am doing an Earring Workshop in February

at Gallery on Park, Swarthmore, PA, it seemed

like a good idea to bone up on certain skills...

I also wanted to use some of the beads I intend

to share at the event to make samples of earring

possibilities...

Not all the earrings I made include clay beads;

but they do show techniques which work either way.

Amethyst slices and semi-precious beads can make

quite a statement!

Trunk Show + Make and Take

This Saturday January 26th, 2019 

at Blue Santa Beads & Boutique in Media, PA

Featuring the work of 

Barbara Hanselman and Nadia Bond. 

For a $10 fee, Barbara or Nadia 

will fashion their components purchased by you 

from the Trunk Show into "Art-to-Wear. 

This runs noon to 4 PM.

CLAY CAMP 2019

What could be more fun 

than spending three whole days 

simply playing in the mud!

On day two we began making Oliver boxes many of 

which were transformed into teapots on day three...

Not to mention discovering stencils, rice paper transfers,

engobes and dropbach trays... We were so involved

the first day that we didn't even take a single picture!

These are only pictures of work made in the hand building

room; there was wheel work and things also happening

in the new Annex...

We did decide that three days is just not long enough...

Oh what fun!
