PENDANT NECKLACES

Pictured above, both sides of the Tatanka Wicasa
Necklace pendant...

At the Oklahoma City National Memorial,
the site of the 1995 bombing of the Federal Building,
stands the Survivor Tree.
The Survivor tree is an American Elm
whose leaves adorn my Tatanka Wicasa pendant.

A Talisman Pendant with Two Faces
looking in opposite directions
personifies change as well as transitions;
it suggests being able to see into the past with one face
and into the future with the other.

Double faced beads are symbols of a ‘middle ground’
where the individual can feel centered
and exist totally in the now.

A pendant made up of two separate ceramic rings
united as one with comfortably-wrapped
copper wire coils. Irregular Red River Jasper stones
& rounds spaced with Bon trade seeds
make up the necklace from which
the interlocking circles hang...
The earrings have opposing lizard accents.
